Chair's Welcome
On behalf of the Governors I am delighted to welcome you to the updated College website.
Thank you for visiting St Killian’s College located at Garron Tower, in the heart of the Glens and East Antrim, where the Trustees have been offering quality faith based Catholic Education in partnership with government and the local community for 70 years in a very unique setting.
Over the last decade St Killian’s has developed into a very successful non-selective College offering seamless transfer from our primary schools. We welcome students of all Faiths and none regardless of their ability and background. Presently, our 850 students are offered an excellent holistic educational experience and, encouraged by our dedicated staff, achieve to their full potential. Planning our £30m New School Project is now very well advanced and we look forward to occupying our new school buildings over the next few years.
Our Governors represent our school community and we work closely with our Principal and Senior Leadership Team ensuring direction and accountability through sub-committees which meet regularly. We deliver a well-balanced curriculum with exceptional pastoral care and varied extra-curricular activities and enjoy an excellent reputation within 'education' and the community due to the excellent results of our high preforming students.
I hope you enjoy browsing our new website and interacting with the rich media content and that you are able to view our Virtual Open Day 2022, a consequence of the current pandemic. I urge you to visit the College if possible and get a feel for the unique environment and the dynamic learning community that is St Killian’s College.
Thank you for your interest in us.
