Support for Parents/ Guardians

If a concern for a student is raised or if a student is underachieving; the Learning Support Coordinator, Heads of Year, Form Teachers and Subject Teachers work together to identify intervention strategies to provide the help and support they need to succeed – strategies can include extra support in classes, additional support out of class in the case of Literacy and Numeracy, employing the expertise and support from external professional agencies or simply encouragement to build confidence. We liaise closely with parents to ensure everyone works together to support the student in the most appropriate way.
